6th Annual Niles-Brandywine Civil War Re-enactment Battle of the Wheatfield
2012 Event is Cancelled
While it pains us to make this decision, we regret to inform you that we will not be
able to host the Niles Brandywine Civil War Reenactment this year due to a
scheduling conflict. Brandywine High school is hosting a regional track meet
with 17 schools on Saturday, May 19th that we were unaware of. This event cannot
be moved and derails plans for a reenactment. Moving the event backwards or
forward conflicts with Mother’s Day weekend, and Memorial Day Weekend. We
certainly apologize for the cancellation however we are currently making plans
to get the event back on track for 2013. Please stay current with our website
for any updates and we intend on working closely with the school in order to
avoid future conflicts. Thank you for your interest in the Niles Brandywine
